# Smart Traffic Management Using Reinforcement Learning

Me along with three others participated in TCS EnginX 2018. The Theme of the 2018 version was Digital Twin. There were four rounds in the competition and our team "**Domini-uim**" reached the grand finale as top 5 teams.&#x20;

Here's a small introduction of our project.

In order to smartly automate the traffic system for better traffic management we proposed a solution to use traffic cameras to compute the number of cars in each intersection. We used RL based learning to optimize the traffic network to minimize traffic wait time.
